042 YOMUD Ensi c.1875



An early and lovely example of the Yomut Tribal Ensi. Normally supposed to be a rug that covers the entrance to a nomadic tent. Lush colors and complete sides. Ends are missing but the the rug has been bound to prevent any further losses. A truly beautiful example of the weavings of Turkoman nomadic peoples.
